He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Edwards and Dorothy Edwards (Mattocks); his wife Diane (Scott); his brother Robert Edwards; his half-brother Larry Edwards; and his former life partner Shirley Thayer.
He is survived by : his sons, Jason Edwards (Jacqilyn) and SGT Josh Edwards (Melissa) of Toledo, OH; his stepchildren, Niki Acker (Dale), Robert Gonczy (Stephanie) and Jennifer Mercer (Chris); his grandchildren, Willem, Zanna Edwards, Dakota Edwards (Rian) and SGT Chase Edwards; his stepgrandchildren, Zakk Acker, Emma Mercer, Brian, Patrick and Willow Lewis; his great grandchildren, Michael and Guinevere Edwards; his sister-in-law Carol Edwards; and his friends, Irv English and Jimmy Birchfield.
