She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Yaxley and Mina Yaxley (Ferris); her former husband Ronald Wasmuth; her husband Richard Walters Sr.; her siblings, Betty Cassiday, Delores Dunbar, Allen Ferris and Charles Yaxley; her brothers-in-law, Frederick Dunbar, Gary Gurk, Jim Martin and Roger Wise; her daughter-in-law Tangie Walters; and her grandparents, Arthur Yaxley, Sarah Tossy, Ezra Myers and Nellie Furney.
She is survived by: her children, Maryanne Walters of Michigan, Shelly Brooks (Don Estridge) of Texas, Kelly Wasmuth of Michigan, Richard Walters Jr. of Texas, James Walters (Brook) of Michigan, Tearesa Walters (Quincy Muniz) of Texas and Kimberly Scott (Paul) of Texas; and her siblings, Rosie Wise, Roy Ferris (Karen), Darlene Martin, Linda Gurk, Joanne Duford and Sharon Phillips. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
