He was predeceased by: his mother Helen L. Alberts (Preston); his son Dale Roy; his grandson Gabriel; his father Andrew Alberts; and his siblings, Brenda Burger, Frances Wallace, Karen Burger, Judy Schuler and Marvin Alberts.
He is survived by: his wife Pat of Coleman; his stepchildren, Clay Alberts (Erricka) of Bloomingdale, Glen Alberts (Tracy) of Canadian Lakes, Chad Alberts (Brenda) of Ocala, Wade Alberts (Nhia) of Ocala, Lodi Ruse (Seth) of GrandRapids, Jim Rhynard (Tina) of Coleman, Mary Johnson (Gary) of Lake Isabella and Donna Alberts; and his friends, Bernie Bell, Duane Koonts and Jake Lincoln. He is also survived by his former wife and mother of his children; 22 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fosnaught-Holdship Funeral Home (406 E Main St, Marion, MI 49665). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (3950 20 Mile Rd, Marion, MI 49665).
