Ishmael of Coloma, Michigan, born in Elk Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on January 26, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Betty departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Betty leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Miller and Clive Pickard; her stepparents, Frank Miller and Estella Pickard; and her siblings, Vic Pickard (Verna) and Barb Roush (Frances).

She is survived by: her son Timothy Ishmael (Wendy); and her grandsons, Ian and Caeleb. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
