He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thompson and Iva Thompson (Blocker); and his granddaughter Emily Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his children, Darryl Thompson of Mishawaka, Marilyn Robinson (Frank) of Amarillo, Texas, Richard Thompson of Virginia Beach and Cassie Genovese (Floyd) of Kalamazoo; and his siblings, Ola Thompson of Sawyer, Mich, Pat Brink of Benton, Peggy Moody of Paragould and David Thompson (Barb) of Cabot, Ark.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
