In the vast expanse of eternity, Donald shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Donald farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett V. Hafer and Helen B. Hafer (Charleston); his wife Rose; his brother Duane Hafer; and his son-in-law Wayne Schaus.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Cowgill (Gerald), Kathryn Hafer and Diane Schaus; his brother Dennis Hafer (Sandy); and his sister-in-law Margot Hafer. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in Don's memory may be made to Paws of Hope in Stevensville or to the family at Honor Credit Union to cover medical expenses.
