He is survived by: his wife Frances Ambler (Bertuca); his children, Rachel McMurtrie (David), David Ambler (Emily) and Margaret Kizer (Seth); his grandchildren, Emma, Lola, Liam McMurtrie, Breanna, Cadence, Scott Kizer, Savanna, Greta, Jack and Luca Ambler; his sister Karen Heyn (David); and his stepdaughters, Christina Boothby (Tom Baptie) and Karen Boothby. He is also survived by many brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
