We bid farewell to Gwendolyn Smith of Coloma, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 13, 2026 at the age of 74. Gwendolyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Willoughby and Virginia Willoughby (Phillips); and her brothers, Ronnie and Rickey. She is survived by: her husband Creight Smith Jr.; her children, Creight Smith III (Kim) of Coloma and Jennifer Lynn Rudell (Joe) of Benton Harbor; her sisters, Pamela Willoughby of Kalamazoo and Carol Anchor of Hartford; and her grandchildren, Kayla (Ryan Jerue), Kourtney, Kendyl Smith, John, Julie, Jessica and Jane Rudell.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First General Baptist Church (6365 N Shore Dr, Coloma, MI 49038). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations in Gwen's name may be made to the church or the American Heart Association.
