Matheny (Coloma, Michigan), born in Manila, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 20, 2025 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Matheny and Emmie Matheny; and his brother Tom Matheny. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Cindy Jones (Thom), Richard Matheny, Jr. and Brian Matheny (Kim); and his sister Jean Matheny.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Richard may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
