With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Darren Burnout DeWitt of Colon, Michigan, born in Sturgis, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 3, 2025 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren DeWitt and Louise DeWitt (Schultz). He is survived by: his wife Darla DeWitt; his children, Tonya Smith (Nick), Michael DeWitt (Melissa), Darin DeWitt, Mike Sterner, Jeffery Elliot, Ryan Abbott and Krista Bower; his grandchildren, McKenzie, Ryan, Mason, Malachi, Makiah, Zahn, Ryker and Warren; and his brothers, Jeffrey DeWitt, Keith DeWitt, James DeWitt and Billy Green.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Beginnings Church (63022 M-66, Sturgis, MI 49091).
Every weekend Darren was involved in a charity ride, helping those in need; even starting his very own charity ride, Warren's Ride for Autism.
