He was predeceased by : his parents, David Yoder and Mary Yoder (Yoder); his granddaughter Regina Schwartz; his siblings, Edith Miller, Willis Yoder and Melvin Yoder; and his brother-in-law Adlai Schrock.

He is survived by : his wife Alma Hostetler; and his children, Mary Jane (Yoder), Amos Bontrager of Ligonier, IN, Allen, Marie Yoder (Bontrager) of Colon, MI, Paul, Wilma Yoder (Kauffman) of Coldwater, MI, JoAnn (Yoder), Alfred Yoder of Colon, MI, Marvin, Irene Yoder (Troyer) of Converse, IN, Katie Ellen (Yoder), Perry Schwartz of Topeka, IN, Sheldon, Sarah Yoder (Miller) of Marcellus, MI, Lawane, Esther Yoder (Helmuth) of Sturgis, MI, Ruby Ann (Yoder), Ferman Hostetler of Millersburg, IN, Floyd and Rosanna Yoder (Bontrager) of Burr Oak, MI. He is also survived by 47 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren; five sisters; three brothers and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Allen Yoder Residence (26915 Mountain Rd, Colon, MI 49040).
