He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Yoder and Fannie Yoder (Helmuth); and his stepfather Harry Bontrager. He is survived by: his wife Rhoda Ann Miller of Colon; his children, Nathan J. Yoder (Katie) of Colon and Laura J. Yoder (Steven Bontrager) of Colon; his grandchildren, Vernon J. Yoder (Mary Hochstetler), Mary R. Yoder, Calvin J. Yoder, Kevin E. Yoder and Jenna F. Yoder; his siblings, Glenn Yoder (Emma) of Centreville, Alma Bontrager (Pete) of Colon, Marvin Yoder (Sylvia) of Colon, Sylvia Mille (Orva) of Topeka, John Yoder (Anna) of Nappanee, Mary K. Kauffman (Joas) of Colon and Norman Yoder (Loretta) of Burr Oak; and his stepbrothers, Lynn Bontrager (LaVerta), Merle Bontrager (Anna Mae), Vernon Bontrager (Arlene) and Lloyd Bontrager.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Cyc Building (59321 Nottawa Rd, Centreville, MI 49032). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
