He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carr and Edna Carr; his sister Lucille; and his niece Peggy. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Carr; and his children, Shirley Boone (Erle) and Allen Bledsoe. He is also survived by three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
