With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Jay Taylor (Columbiaville, Michigan), born in Highland Park, Michigan, who passed away on September 27, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John Jay may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Jay touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Taylor and Gladys Taylor; and his siblings, Ray and Donna. He is survived by: his siblings, Robert and Janet; and his children, Rachelle, Douglas and Michael. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in memory of John may be made to either of the churches he attended.
