She was predeceased by: her parents, Lionel VanDeWalle and Grace Bauldry (Kennedy); her husband Lyle Franklin Ashley; and her close friend William Vanover. She is survived by: her children, Cathy Hughes (Mark) of Mt. Morris, MI and Lyle Ashley (Suzann) of Columbiaville, MI; her brothers, Richard VanDeWalle and Lionel VanDeWalle; and her grandchildren, Madison Bartee (Jonathan), Jimmy Young, Jesse Young (Logan), Taryn Young (Cody Wray) and Jackson Campbell (Brittany). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and many more family members and very dear friends.
