She was predeceased by : her parents, Olin Jacob and Clarina Jacob; her daughter Bertha Stevens; and her brother Gerald Jacob (Ray Stevens). She is survived by : her son Jerome Brown; her sister Dian Jacob; her sister-in-law Sherrie Jacob; and her nephews, Michael, Timothy, Jason and Jessee. She is also survived by several cousins and extended family.
