It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lew Hosmer of Comins, Michigan, who passed away on April 11, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edsel Hosmer and Eileen Hosmer (Soward); his former wife Janet; his sister Lee; and his son-in-law Matt.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hosmer; his children, Barry Faulkner (Sharon), Timothy Faulkner (Diane) and Carrie VanEtten (Matt); his stepchildren, David Schmiege (Sharon), Amy Beregon (Tom) and Lana Hummel (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Bethany, Zachary, Joshua (Madeline), Stephanie, Cecelia, Maxwell, Steven (Amy), Cadie (Brandon), Allie, Nicolas, Ethan, Sydnie, Kenny, Samantha, Skyler, Aaron and Jeremy. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
