He was predeceased by : his parents, James Ronald and Della Mae; his son James Clayton Holyfield; and his mother-in-law Sally Smith. He is survived by : his wife Barbara; his sons, John Holyfield, Jr. (Jackie) and Joseph Holyfield (Katie); his grandchildren, Brittany Vanderwal (Ryan), Trenton Holyfield, Avery Holyfield and Shelby Holyfield; his great grandchildren, Asher, Aden, Augustus and Abram; and his siblings, Donna Holyfield of West Virginia, Diana White of West Virginia and Leslie Holyfield of West Virginia. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
