She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Heinonen and Sylvia Heinonen (Schroderus); her siblings, Edward, Arlene, Sandra and Raymond; her husband Arnie; and her sons, Kenneth and Kevin.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Slusher (Jeff) and Keith Raisanen; her child-in-law Cyndi Raisanen; her sister Doris Kennedy; her sisters-in-law, Joanne Heinonen and Linda Heinonen; her grandchildren, Laura, Elizabeth, Nathan, Taryn, Joseph, Tiffany and Jessica; and her great grandchildren, Addison, Owen, Jacob, Sarah, Adela and Oliver.

Memorial donations may be made to the Finnish Center Association or Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church.
