He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cummings and Ruth Cummings; and his siblings, Colleen Sweany and James. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Richard (Denise), Sandra Heiniger (Mark), Randal, Carter, Reese, Dean, Kennedy and Rebecca Mesman (Joel); and his sisters, Carol Martin (Ted) and Jan Stimmel (Tom).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Multi Lakes Conservation Assoc (3860 Newton Rd, Commerce Charter Twp, MI 48390).
