He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Henry and Alpha Wolverton; his children, Julie Crippen (Dale), William Edward "Billy" Wolverton, Carl Wolverton and Carmen Sodemann (Steve); his stepchildren, Amy, Tammy, Donny, Frank and Becky; his grandchildren, Natosha, Dylan, William II, Maryann, Brittany, Alexis, Kody, Ashley, Melanie and Ryan; and his siblings, Carl Wolverton, Brenda Spencer (Rudy), Mike Wolverton (Vanessa) and Sadie Noble. He was also cherished by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lynch & Sons Funeral Home - Walled Lake (340 N Pontiac Trail, Walled Lake, MI 48390). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
