Allison Van Prooyen Obituary

We announce the death of Allison Van Prooyen of Comstock Park, Michigan, who passed away on October 13, 2026, at the age of 43. Allison will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her father Bradford Bachelder; and her stepmother Lori Bachelder. She is survived by: her children, Teigan, Charlotte and Aiden Van Prooyen; her mother Nancy Ronda; her siblings, Carson Bachelder, Allyse (Bachelder), Adam Homan and Parker Bachelder; her cousin Jodi Eggerding; and her close friend Patti Steere. She is also survived by many loving extended family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Third Reformed Church (2060 Michigan St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503). A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
