George Johns Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on November 4, 2025, at the age of 78, George Johns of Comstock Park, Michigan, born in Aurora, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Pat Johns; and his pet Max. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Rector; his children, Aaron Johns (Shannon) and Aimee Johns; his grandchildren, Emily Bennett (Dawson) and Tyler Halmstad; his great grandchildren, Jensen and Lucas Halmstad; his sisters, Chris Kramer (Dan), Stephanie Konsler (David) and Tracey Niles (Jeff); and his sister-in-law Sunny Johns. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers Mike would have loved to see donations made to your local golden retriever rescue or humane society in his memory.
