John Christopher Smith Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Smith (Fox) and Robert Erickson (Mary); his children, Cosmo Hadley and Harley Hadley Smith; his sister Laurie Grace Doughty; and his parents-in-law, LeRoy and Florence Marie Hadley (Lesondak).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Hadley; his sons, Nathaniel Smith (Sidney Jackfert) and Izaak Smith; his siblings, Robert Smith (Nean), Rick Smith (Laurie Ann), Becky Geidans (Val) and Jim Smith (Sue); and his siblings-in-law, Doug Doughty, Ann Hadley (Lindsey Richardson) and JoAnn Shine (Michael). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church (1025 3 Mile Rd NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505). A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
