We announce the death of Richard A. Bennett of Comstock Park, Michigan, who passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 69. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bennett and Betty Bennett (Hole); his wife Lisa Bennett; his son Chase Bennett; and his brother Shawn Bennett.
He is survived by: his children, Melinda Bennett (Doug), Kayliegh Bennett (Aaron), Derek Bennett (Koralee) and Richard Bennett (Nikki); his grandchildren, Athena, Annalisa, Kole, Samm, Brianna, Montanna, Dylan, Jorie, Zoee and Bailey; his siblings, Jessie Long (Bob), Judy Plukett (Richard), Beth Cain (Marty), Ed Bennett and Leanne Scrivner; and his pet Vinny. He is also survived by many step siblings, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Ryan's Towing (10849 Northland Dr NE, Rockford, MI 49341).
