It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sylvia Jeanne Smith of Comstock, Michigan, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on January 8, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Clayton Wheeler and Audrey Wheeler (Wilson); and her brother Ray Wheeler. She is survived by : her son David Smith (Heidi) of Otsego; her grandson Tanner; her son Ron Smith of Portage; her grandchildren, Christopher, Stephen and Megan; her great grandchildren, Parker and Sophia; and her sister Carol Patterson (Glenn) of Cincinnati. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Contributions in memory of Jeanne may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
