He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Allen and Edith Knight Sr. (Jones); and his siblings, Joyce Knight and Wayne Kaiser. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Knight (Taylor); his children, Edgar Allen Knight III (Kristina) of Ypsilanti, Catherine Nicole Bartholomay (Jon) of Milan, Arielle Grace Knight of Concord and Brandon Allen Knight of Concord; and his brother David Burton. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
