She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Young and Leota Young (Keller); her brothers, Raymond Richard Young, Duane Young, James "Jim" Young and Everett "Shine" Young; and her brother-in-law Dean Newell.

She is survived by: her son Todd Purk (Jennifer) of Concord; her grandson Jakob Roberts; and her sisters, Sally Newell of Osseo and Gracia Draggoo of Osseo. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
