He was predeceased by : his parents, William Edwin DeForest and Mary Viola DeForest (Dunham). He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth DeForest (Plaga); his sons, Ed DeForest and Joe DeForest; his grandchildren, Mikel Hunsicker, Mellaney DeForest, Anthony DeForest, Damian DeForest, Zachary DeForest, Meghan Gill, Eddie DeForest, Parrish DeForest and Alyssa Gill; his child Phoenix Leona DeForest; and his siblings, Judy Clark (Starr), Ron DeForest (Grace), Cheryl VanAken, Randy DeForest (Corby) and Terry DeForest (Cindy).
