He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Brunner and Gertrude Brunner (Miller); his wife Hazel May Brunner (Schroeder); his children, Cindy Lue Brunner of Tustin, CA, Billy Joe Brunner of Lake Elsinore, CA. and Phillip Gordon Brunner; and his grandson Jeston Brunner. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Henry Ford Jackson Hospice.
