She is survived by: her siblings, Joan Van Timmeran (Leon) and Everett Kolberg (Sue); her siblings-in-law, Corine Kloostra (Roger) and Herbert Reister Jr. (Sharon); her children, Debra Krueger (Rick), David Reister (Cindy), Steven Reister (Karyn), Gary Reister (Lisa), Karen Penland (Mike) and Kimberly Nequist (Rick); her grandchildren, R. Casey O'Rourke (Jayne), Andrew Reister (Sarah), Justin Reister, Kristine Reister, Stephany Bates (Patrick), Steven Reister, Brandon Cooke (Maria), Amanda Cooke, Jessica DeWaal (Jordan) and Joshua Nequist (Macy); and her husband Harland Reister. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Improvement Fund, Trinity Lutheran School Fund, or Faith Hospice of Michigan.
