She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Kolberg and Cora Kolberg; her in-laws, Herbert and Freida Reister; her brothers, Alvin Kolberg (Karlene) and Elmer Kolberg; her sister-in-law Leona Malinsky (Walt); and her grandson Patrick O'Rourke.
She is survived by: her siblings, Joan Van Timmeran (Leon) and Everett Kolberg (Sue); her siblings-in-law, Corine Kloostra (Roger) and Herbert Reister Jr. (Sharon); her children, Debra Krueger (Rick), David Reister (Cindy), Steven Reister (Karyn), Gary Reister (Lisa), Karen Penland (Mike) and Kimberly Nequist (Rick); her grandchildren, R. Casey O'Rourke (Jayne), Andrew Reister (Sarah), Justin Reister, Kristine Reister, Stephany Bates (Patrick), Steven Reister, Brandon Cooke (Maria), Amanda Cooke, Jessica DeWaal (Jordan) and Joshua Nequist (Macy); and her husband Harland Reister. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1479 Harding St, Conklin, MI 49403). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery (1379 Harding St, Conklin, MI 49403).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Improvement Fund, Trinity Lutheran School Fund, or Faith Hospice of Michigan.
