He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Klein and Florence Klein (Arends); his wife Rita Klein (Sherer); his parents-in-law, Richard and Margaret Sherer; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Umlor, Bernard Denhof, Michael Wheelock, Robert Sherer, Eric Sherer and John Sherer.
He is survived by: his children, Peggy Denman (Dan) and Joseph Klein (Kelly); his grandchildren, David Schoenborn (Claire), Matthew, Jonathan Schoenborn, Joshua Klein (Jenna) and Emily Klein; his siblings, Donald Klein (Shirley), Carl Klein (Mary), Thomas Klein (Betty), Pat Brennan (Kenneth), Janice Crowley (Ted), Louis Klein (Darlene), Marilyn Wheelock, Dan Klein (Barb), Roger Klein (Sue) and James Klein; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Sherer (Barb), Joan Sherer, Lila Sherer, Betty Denhof and Faith Umlor. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
