She was predeceased by: her parents, Helmer Nordwall and Eva Nordwall (Wilbern); her in-laws, Herbert and Freida Reister; her siblings, Carolyn VanderLaan (Gerald) and Helmer Nordwall; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Hall, Harland Reister (Janice) and Leona Malinsky (Walt).

She is survived by: her husband Herbert Martin Reister Jr.; her children, Cathy VanKempen (Frank) and Kenneth Reister; her grandson Charles Reister; her son Jarrod Reister; her sister Betty Hall; and her sister-in-law Hope Nordwall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church improvement fund and Trinity Lutheran School Fund.
