She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Handlogten and Fannie Handlogten (Harjer); and her siblings, June Velthuis, Margie Taylor, Ron Handlogten and Betty Wiggers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Young (Russ) and Karla Wiersma (Brian); her grandchildren, Brandon Young, Chase Young, Hunter Wiersma, Jacob Wiersma and Greely Holman; her sister-in-law Julie Handlogten; and her close friend Linda Englert. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Coopersville Reformed Church (423 W Randall St, Coopersville, MI 49404). A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
