He was predeceased by: his parents, Egbert Boes and Marie Boes (Diepstra); and his former wife Barbara. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn; his children, Daniel Boes (Carolynn), Valerie Gates (Kevin), David Boes (Kathy), Tracy Morden (Michael), Dan Moore (Lisa) and Dennis Moore (Cathy); and his sister Jacqueline Sutton (Thomas). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 56 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the K. E. Pike Funeral Home (13603 Northland Dr NE, Cedar Springs, MI 49319). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church (16028 Isabella Rd, Coral, MI 49322).
