He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Hansen and Lillie Mae Hansen (Richards). He is survived by: his wife Linda Rowland; his children, Shari Giglio (Mike) of Florida, Cindy Whitaker (George) of Kalamazoo, Michelle McElhinny (Kim) of Lakeview, James Hansen (Tammy) of Texas and Alicia Nadeau (Steve) of Coral; his grandchildren, Cari, Scott, Nathan, Betsy, Angela, Darcey, Tiffany, Jacob, Blake, Skylar, Gunner, Hunter, Tyler and Jared; his sister Allora Oppeneer of Grand Rapids; and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Rowland of Sand Lake and Robert Bowers of Coral. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
