It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Kurney of Corunna, Michigan, born in Caledonia, Michigan, who passed away on September 26, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Parr and Millie Parr (Craig); her husband Wayne Kurney; her sisters, Pauline McCall and Margaret Parr; her daughter-in-law Wendy Kurney; and her foster siblings, Edna Phelps, Doris Allen, Ruby Eshelman and Reynolds Phelps.
She is survived by: her children, Waynette Topolski and Eugene "Gene" Kurney; her grandchildren, Laura Drouillard (Jerry), Emily Rosser (John), Amanda Mrva (Ron) and Justin Kurney (Leann); and her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Aubrey, Easton Rosser, Alan, Olivia, Ella, Allie Mrva, Anna, Melanie and Martin Kurney.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
