She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrie Linabury (Rigling) and Nelson Linabury. She is survived by: her former husband Al Leavitt; her daughters, Wendy Colborn of Corunna, Jeanne Buse (Mark) of Saginaw and Susan Bigelow (Creig) of Portland; her grandchildren, Kristi, Caleb, Zachary, Jessica and Nathan; her great grandchildren, Abigail, Andrew, Emily, Olivia, Ella, Avery and Liam; and her sister Sue Teichman of Owosso. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Rita's daughters are asking for any donations to be made to the Carland Global Methodist Church (4002 N Carland Rd, Elsie, MI, 48831).
