He is survived by: his son Tyler Pierce; his close friend Judy Rendell; his friends, Lonnie and Kathy Harris; and his siblings, Sandra Pullum, Rebecca Hulsey (Steve) and Douglas Payne. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many close friends.
