John A. Hoover Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John A. Hoover of Covert, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Murl D. Hoover and Frieda A. Hoover (Kohlhoff); and his siblings, Carolyn Grant, Marion Sliter and Murl A. Hoover.
He is survived by: his wife Regina M. Hoover; his daughters, Amanda M. Miller (Greg) of Mattawan, Rachel R. Carpenter (Jesse) of Bangor and Heather N. Irvine (Terrence) of Covert; his grandchildren, Isis Dailey (Jacob), Lyra Carpenter, Scarlett Hoover and Truitt Irvine; his great grandchildren, Layla, River and Noah Dailey; his sister Sharon R. Ward (Rick) of Kalamazoo; and his sister-in-law Margaret E. Farley (Burt). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family suggests memorials be made to The American Cancer Society or to a donor's choice.
