He was predeceased by: his parents, George R. Tait and Margaret Tait (Pelo); his sisters, Sally (Robert Gordon) and Lorraine (Edwin Sagan); and his son-in-law Bruce Strachan.
He is survived by: his wife Felicia; and his children, Karen Schott (Pat) of Croswell, Laurie Strachan of Croswell, David (Shelly) of Sandusky and Steve (Emily) of Birmingham. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, loved nieces and nephews, and friends.
