He was predeceased by: his father Richard Kita. He is survived by: his wife Shannon K. Johnston; his children, Olivia, Ian and Wyatt Kita; his mother Doris Schmiedeknecht (Michael); his sister Kristi Kita (Aaron Schattler); his parents-in-law, Dennis and Cindy Johnston; and his siblings-in-law, Shawn Johnston (Jessica), Shane Welch (James), Shasta Johnston (Henry Buitting) and Stefen Johnston (Danielle). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
