With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frederick Whitmore of Croswell, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 2, 2026 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his daughter Kelli Val; and his granddaughter Tamara Rene Whitmore. He is survived by: his elder-brother Ken; his wife Jo Ann (Utley) of Lexington; his children, Bret Whitmore (Cindy) of Rapid City, Brad Whitmore (Wendy) of Traverse City, Michigan, Holli Crum (Ronald) of Linden, Michigan and Terryn Hodges of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his grandchildren, Allen Crum (Michaela), Gwyn Whitmore, Alicia Moleski (Jeff), Ricky Whitmore, Ben Whitmore (Brianne), Chris Whitmore (Sophia), Dylan Hodges, Julia Hodges and Preston Crum (Karlene); and his great grandchildren, Emerson, Lincoln Moleski, Carson Crum, Fletcher Whitmore and Luka Whitmore. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, beloved friends, and kind neighbors.
