She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Carswell and Frank Carswell; her daughter Amy Miller; and her sisters, Juanita Singer and Diane Rigdon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Jones (Darrin Jones), Melanie Wilson and Amanda Kelly-Wilt; her siblings, Tom (Molly Carswell), Frank (Eva Carswell) and Shelly Johnson; and her grandchildren, Jerome, Jake, Justin, Andrew, Christopher, Layne, Tiffany, Aaron, Nathan and Brett. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Swartz Funeral Home (1225 W Hill Rd, Flint, MI 48507). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 4:40 PM at the Brick Street (1233 E. Grand Blanc Rd., Grand Blanc, MI 48439).
