She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Hanmer and Mary Hanmer (Shively); her husband David; and her siblings, Dean Hanmer and Elaine Hammond.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ingrid VanderLende (Greg) of Rockford and Gretchen Carlson (Jamie) of Crystal Falls; her grandchildren, Trent VanderLende (Kerry), Austin Carlson, Ericka VanderLende and Kayla Carlson; and her brothers, Art Hanmer (Shirley) of Fort Mohave and John Hanmer (Barbara) of Benzonia. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nash Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (104 N 3rd St, Crystal Falls, MI 49920). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 20 S. 5th Street, Crystal Falls, MI 49920, in Arlene Peterson's memory.
