As Dorothy departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Dorothy. Though Dorothy may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, H. H. William and Lily Brinkoetter (Laux); her husband Donald Carlson (Don); and her daughter Barbara Carlson. She is survived by: her sons, David Carlson (Sharon) of Coopersville, MI, James Carlson of Crystal Falls, MI and Richard Carlson (Sue) of Shelbyville, MI; and her grandsons, Matthew Carlson (Kelly), Scott Lowing (Cristy) and William Carlson (Tessa). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the United Lutheran Church (506 Superior Ave, Crystal Falls, MI 49920).
