He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert M Lawry and Opal Lawry (Lester); his sisters, Jeannie Lawry and Connie Tolzman; and his brother-in-law Arthur Tolzman (Marlene).

He is survived by : his former life partner Mary Lawry (Ordzywolska); his daughters, Elizabeth Volm (Joel) and Sara Lawry (Chell); his stepdaughters, Terri Huettl (Rick) and Cindy Hendricksen; his nephews, Darrel Tolzman and Jay Tolzman (Molly); his grandchildren, Kayla Lewis, Nicholas Volm, Agnieszka Volm, Samantha Chell and Sonja Chell; and his great grandchildren, Abbigail and Matthew.
