He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis Kurtz Sr. and Gertrude Kurtz; his siblings, Donald Kurtz Sr. and Carol Dombrowski; his sister-in-law Janette Kurtz; his parents-in-law, Glen and Mary Boylan; his brother-in-law Jerry D. Boylan; and his great-nephews, Ian and Will Bauman.
He is survived by : his wife Carol Kurtz; his children, David Kurtz (Theresa) and Elisa Servais (Troy); his grandchildren, Maria Beekman (Jayson), Ethan Kurtz (Elizabeth) and Airon Servais; his great grandchildren, Rachel Kurtz, Rebecca Kurtz and Rae Lynn Kurtz; his brothers, Louis Kurtz Jr. and Theodore Kurtz (Cheryl); his sisters-in-law, Sara Annan (Bill) and Mary Kurtz; and his niece Jody Ayers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
