It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James A. Sundquist (Crystal Falls, Michigan), born in Hancock, Michigan, who passed away on February 20, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Sundquist and Marion Sundquist; and his brothers, Richard, William and Robert Sundquist.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his son James; his daughter-in-law Holly; his grandsons, Jake and Max; his great grandchild Peter; his brother John; and his sister-in-law Pat. He is also survived by niece and three nephews.
In honor of Jim's love for animals, the family requests that donations be made to the Northwoods Animal Shelter in Iron River, MI, in lieu of flowers.
