It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Jean Foster of Crystal, Michigan, who passed away on February 28, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Backes and Donna Backes (Orwig); her grandparents, Reva and Jim Rummer; and her sisters, Vickie and Pam.
She is survived by: her husband Phillip Foster of Crystal, MI; her daughters, Trina Schall (Aaron) of Sumner, MI and Michelle Foster of Lansing, MI; her brother Michael Backes of Indiana; and her grandchildren, Gage (Kennedy Schall), Ian Schall, Elise Schall, Richard Paul, Lance Paul and Elizabeth Foster.
